Instructions to the Candidates for Civil Services (Main) Examination 2012

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2012 from 5 October 2012 to 26 October 2012. The candidates qualified in Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination 2012 conducted on 20 May 2012 are eligible to appear for Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2012.

Here are the set of instructions that needs to be kept in mind before appearing for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2012.

•    The candidates are required to enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes before the commencement of the Examination to avoid last minute panic.
•    Candidates will only be provided with Logarithmic Table for reference purposes.
•    Candidates are required to notify the total number of answer books used by him/her in the front page of the first answer book (Main Answer Book).
•    The admission of the candidate to the examination is strictly provisional.
