Exam Details: Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow
conducts State Entrance Examination (UPSEE-2012) for admission into
programs in Engineering B.Tech (Ag. Engg)/ Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
/Architecture (B.Arch) / Hotel Management (BHMCT) / Fashion &
Apparel Design (BFAD), MBA and MCA of Govt. Aided and private unaided
institutions affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow
and Mahamaya Technical University, Noida along with some of the other
State Universities of Uttar Pradesh. The UPSEE entrance exam will be
held on 21th April 2012 & 28th April 2012.
About UPSEE: The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow vide Govt. order no. 4260/solah-1-2009-13(7)/09 dated 18/01/2010 (Read with GO No. 667/solah-1-2012-1(17)/2008 dated 23/02/2012). Further, the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE-2012 being conducted by Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.
How to get the application Form:
1.) The online submission of particulars may be made at website www.upsee.nic.in. Desired candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Registration Number will be generated. Make the payment and finally a Confirmation Page with Registration Number shall be generated.
2.) Desired candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and paste their photograph, signature and thumb impression at the specified places and send it along with the payment of e-Challan (if the payment is made through an online generated bank e-Challan) through Speed Post only to " Registrar (UPSEE-2012), Gautam Buddh Technical University, IET Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226021, Uttar Pradesh" so as to reach on or before 5:00 PM, 30.03.2012. Confirmation Page received after 30.03.2012 will not be accepted.
3.) Eligible candidates applying for admission to first year of MBA and MCA Courses should submit one application form.
4.) Please read the Information Broucher (UG) or Information Broucher (MBA/MCA)carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form.
5.) The examination for admission to first year of MBA/MCA course at various institutes/universities will be done through an online test only.
Exam Pattern: UPSEE will be conducted for ten paper with objective type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of paper 4) Eligible candidates are required to opt paper and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination as mentioned in clause 44 subject to their eligiblity as per clause 3.
(i) Every objective type question would carry 4 marks for correct answer.
(ii) The objective type question can have one or more than one correct answer, OR one or more than one wrong answer.
(iii) The answer would be considered correct only if all appropriate choices are indicated in the answer.
(iv) There will be no negative marking. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately.
(v) All objective type questions are required to be answered on specially designed OMR answer sheets against the respective question number.
(v) Answers are to be marked using ball point pen (Black/Blue) only. For the purpose of evaluation, the details filled in by the candidate in the OMR answer sheet will be accepted as final.
Important Date:
Last date for receipt of completed OMR Application form: 24/03/2012.
For UG courses: 22/04/2012
For MBA/MCA courses: 21/04/2012 and 28/04/2012.
Results declaration: 31/05/2012.
